Monday: Mixed Greens Salad, Roasted Golden Beets, leftover chicken and soup
Tuesday: Stir-fried Vegetables over rice or noodles (I took the easy way when buying vegetables this week, I bought a prepared pack of stir-fry vegetables from Wegmans). And I’ll make a really easy stir-fry sauce from The Complete Book of Pasta and Noodles. Every time I buy a prepared stir fry sauce from the store it ends up being too sweet.
Wednesday: eat out, kids have skating lessons
Saturday: Winter Beer Tasting Dinner – This menu isn’t quite fully hashed out yet, but I’m really really excited about it. Each season we try and get together with friends and taste a bunch of the current seasonal beers. The winter menu has become a tradition with Beef Carbonnade (cooked with beer), Beer Bread Muffins, and ending with a Chocolate Stout Cake made with coffee stout beer.
